Florida, here we come
Well, in a few days at least. This weekend is all about getting ready for the trip. Friday night I had to babysit which was nice because I made some more money for our trip. This morning was all about cars. I called the dealership where I got my car and talked to the woman who helped me find my car. Since my lease is up next month we talked about what I wanted to do. I would really like to work with her again but I also want to lease a Mazda 3 and they don't sell Mazdas. She told me that I qualify for a program that GM has right now where I can turn my car in early as long as I buy another GM car. If I do that, Rosa will be able to help me. I will have a lot to think about when we get back from Florida. After that, I took my car to a dealership here to get the oil changed. Pontiac was nice enough to send me a voucher for four free oil changes this year. Too bad I'm turning in my car next month. But with my trip to Florida I should be able to use two of the four oil changes.
This afternoon I started to pack some stuff for Florida and made a list of what all I want to bring so that when I have to finish packing after work on Tuesday and Wednesday, I won't forget anything. I also made a list of things that need to be done around here before we go. Then I did some laundry and cleaned a little bit. I still need to vacuum and clean the bathroom but otherwise the apartment is clean. Tonight I babysat again. This brought my total babysitting money from the weekend to $96. That will be nice for Florida.
Tomorrow I plan to finish cleaning, pack a little more, workout, have a spa day, download music and make a playlist, and maybe make a trip to Target. I think I need to come up with a plan of what order to do all of that in. Maybe instead of working out tomorrow I will go before work on Monday and Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
Anyway, I realized the other day that I haven't blogged about the kids in a while and they are changing a lot so I need to do that soon. But for now, I think I need to go to bed. Let's hope I'm not wide awake at 5:45 again tomorrow morning and let's hope that, after I finally fall back to sleep, my father doesn't call at 8 again asking about the weather.
