I think I will start blogging again
I was reading all of my old blogs on here and Myspace the other day. I really enjoyed reading them and decided that I would like to start blogging more often. I guess I will just use this one since I already have it. I don't really want to use my Myspace one anymore because I'm not sure how much longer I will have it. I'm almost never on there so I'm thinking of deleting it. I use Facebook more and I think most of my friends do as well. Anyway, I've decided that I don't want to do a photo blog like last time because it was getting hard coming up with pictures every day. Although I will probably add pictures every once and a while. I also don't think I will post every day but I will try to post at least every few days. I also don't want it to become mainly rants like my Myspace blog.
So I have a new job. I just finished my second week there. I am still a nanny but for a new family now. Unfortunately I was let go from my last job because the mom lost her job. I was very sad. They are having a new baby in March and I was really looking forward to that. Anyway, she decided that she will stay home with A until after the new baby comes and then look for a new job. They were sad to let me go and said that they would offer me my job back when the time comes. I like my new job but I really might be tempted to take the offer. I guess we will see when the time comes. Anyway, the new family has two children E (boy) who is 4 1/2 and M (girl) who is almost 19 months. She is just two months older than A. Again, I am just using their initials. E goes to preschool three mornings a week. I also get to take them on a lot of outings. I drive their van during the day. Also, in January I am doing Music Together with M while E is in preschool. Sarah signed A up for that class too so we will get to see each other at least once a week. I also took M over there for a playdate with Sarah and A the other day. We had fun and the kids got along pretty good. I'm so glad that I am with a family that is close by and that we will get to see each other still. I was having a really hard time with this until the other day. I think the playdate really helped me. I actually thought it might make me miss him more.
Yesterday, while E was in school, I took M to the pet store and she loved it! We got to see puppies, kittens, bunnies, and birds. She especially loved the birds! One of them was showing off for her too. He kept fluffing up the feathers on his head and making a lot of noise. He also followed us around. All of the birds were out in the open so I was a little nervous but it was okay. She just stood there watching them with a huge smile on her face and she kept giggling at them. It was a great (free) idea to take her there. We also saw one of E's friends there. His mom said that they go there all the time. This weekend I plan to come up with a list of places to take them. I would also like to come up with some ideas of things to do with E while M is napping in the afternoons.
Anyway, I want to post some pictures but I need to get my scanner working first. I also need to get some other things done today too so maybe I will post them tomorrow.
